The Bible Society exists because millions lack the Bible in a language they can understand, in a form they can use or at a price they can afford. At the same time millions still have no understanding of the Bible’s value for them and their communities. Bible Society are seeking to change this.
Hope Now exists to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. A balance of direct evangelism with social action ensures the message of the Gospel touches the hearts of young and old, poor and rich, healthy and infirm, free and imprisoned. Hope Now works in Ukraine.
The Trussell Trust works to empower local communities to combat poverty and exclusion in the UK and Bulgaria. They work with the people that society forgets, providing practical help through sustainable projects and enabling each person to realise that they are valued. Their vision is to build communities where people of all backgrounds are included and have the opportunity to live in dignity with hope for the future.
Bringing vital help to people in need, MAF operates over 120 light aircraft in more than 30 countries of the developing world, flying to thousands more destinations that any other airline. MAF works in close partnership with aid agencies, missions, relief and development organisations and local churches to serve people in remote and inhospitable places providing them with medical care, adequate food, clean water and Christian hope.
New Tribes Mission (NTM) is a Christian organisation whose aim is to take the message of the Bible to remote people groups of the world. The name, New Tribes Mission, is used because the work is mainly among 'tribal' people groups. The focus therefore is on 'new tribes', who do not have the Bible in their language and haven't had the opportunity to hear the Christian message presented clearly.
Zambesi Mission is an evangelical, non-denominational agency working in Malawi and northern Mozambique. Working in partnership with the Zambesi Evangelical Church, they aim to help African Christians to use their God-given gifts, to spread the gospel, and to show the love of God in practical ways, through health care, education and caring for orphans. They also partner with the Evangelical Bible College of Malawi to train future leaders and evangelists, and we annual support students from the college in their training.
